After prayerful consideration with my wife Kelly, my extended family, and friends
throughout the district, I have decided to seek the Republican nomination for the
South Carolina House in District 20. |

Why would I choose to get involved in State House politics now? I would like to
continue my service to our community by helping change the way business is done
in Columbia.

I believe that there are a series of “Reforms That Work” that we should pursue in
state government. This includes tax reforms and cuts to spur economic growth, education
reforms that open up new choices for our children, immigration reforms that remove
incentives for illegal activity, and business reforms to attract dynamic, well paying
jobs that help secure our economy. For more information on these, please click on

My business background and my experience as a Congressional aide to Senator Jim
DeMint has given me a unique perspective and ability to be effective in Columbia
from day one. Now more than ever, we need a leader in Columbia who will be a strong
voice for our conservative principles and will fight to lower taxes by reducing
government spending.
